Indian Pulses for Global Kitchens
Elysium Agri Corporation is a pulses exporter in India, based in Jamnagar, Gujarat. We supply whole pulses and split dals (Green Moong Beans, Moong Mogar, Urad, Pigeon Peas, Red Lentils, Green Lentils and Green Peas) to importers, millers, food brands and ethnic-grocery distributors, in bulk bags or private-label packs.
India is the world's largest producer and consumer of pulses, and also a large importer: it brought in about 6 million tonnes in 2025-26. Exports are smaller and focused: India shipped about 6.3 lakh tonnes of pulses worth US$ 687 million in 2023-24 (APEDA), mostly dals and pulses for South Asian cooking in Bangladesh, the Gulf, North America and the UK.

Pulse Export Policy, HS Codes and Standards
All the pulses we ship are "Free" for export from India; the 2017 ban on moong, urad and tur dal exports was lifted. India's import rules differ by pulse, which affects origin and price. Indian pulses are not under increased EU border checks, but every shipment must meet EU or destination limits for pesticide residues, lead (0.20 mg/kg) and cadmium (0.040 mg/kg).
- Standards we work to
- FSSAI 2.4.6 pulses standard: moisture 14% whole / 12% dehusked, extraneous matter 1%, damaged 7% (broken 3%), uric acid 100 mg/kg.
- Codex CXS 171-1989 for lentils and peas (it excludes moong, urad and pigeon peas).
- Canadian Grain Commission grades as the benchmark for lentils and peas.
- EU Regulation 2023/915 (lead, cadmium); EU MRLs, including glyphosate for lentils (10 mg/kg).
