Moong Mogar (Yellow Moong Dal)
Moong mogar is green moong that has been dehusked and split into yellow halves, sold as yellow moong dal or moong dal mogar. Elysium Agri exports sortexed, polished and unpolished moong mogar for Indian food brands, restaurants and ethnic-grocery importers, milled from Indian moong and tested for moisture, admixture, pesticides and microbiology.
Mogar cooks in minutes without soaking, which makes it the everyday dal of North and West India and a staple for khichdi, halwa and snacks.
