Dehydrated White Onion Chopped (3–5 mm)
Elysium Agri exports dehydrated white onion chopped in 3–5 mm and large chopped 5–8 mm cuts, milled and sieved from Mahuva onion flakes. It is creamy white, below 6% moisture and tested for microbiology and pesticides, for seasoning blenders, ready-meal makers and food service.
Chopped onion gives visible onion pieces without peeling or chopping, and rehydrates faster than flakes. It is one of India's most traded dehydrated onion cuts, with India the world's largest exporter of dried onion.

Chopped Onion Price: What Sets It
Dehydrated onion is priced per kilo or per metric tonne FOB. India is the world's largest exporter, and Mahuva prices lead the Indian market.
- Fresh onion crop: the Gujarat white-onion harvest (about Feb–May) and its price set the cost; 8–9 kg of fresh onion make 1 kg dry.
- Cut and grade: chopped and large chopped cuts carry milling and sieving costs.
- Micro grade: steam-sterilised low-micro lots cost more.
- Competition: Egypt, China and the USA also export; India averaged about US$ 1.96/kg in 2024.
- Freight: light cargo means fewer tonnes per container.
Prices move with the crop and the market, so we quote on the day. Tell us your grade, quantity and port for a current FOB, CFR or CIF price.
