Indian Peanuts, Maize and Feed Meals for Vietnam's Processors and Feed Mills
Tested lots with the plant-quarantine papers Vietnam checks, loaded at Mundra for Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong.
Elysium Agri Corporation is an agro-commodity exporter in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and we export to Vietnam. We offer peanuts, maize, rapeseed meal, de-oiled rice bran and seed spices to Vietnamese importers, processors and feed mills. Your cargo loads at Mundra, Kandla or Pipavav and lands at Ho Chi Minh City, Cai Mep, Hai Phong or Da Nang.
Vietnam buys raw materials in volume and compares India with Argentina, Brazil and the United States on landed cost. A steady specification and clean quarantine paperwork decide the repeat order. Vietnam paused Indian peanut imports in 2015 and 2017 after storage pests were found, so we supervise and test every lot before loading.

View detailsWhat Your Import Needs in Vietnam
Plant-origin food enters Vietnam under Decree 15/2018. The exporting country must be on Vietnam's approved list for the product, and each consignment passes plant quarantine and a state food-safety inspection.
- A phytosanitary certificate that matches Vietnam's quarantine conditions. Indian peanuts are a regulated article.
- A product self-declaration by the importer for pre-packaged processed foods.
- A Vietnamese label showing product name, responsible organisation, origin, quantity and dates.
- Feed ingredients must meet the QCVN 01-190:2020 limits.
Duty and the ASEAN-India Agreement
Indian-origin goods shipped with an AITIGA certificate of origin can take the preferential rate for their HS line. Without it, the MFN rate applies. Rates differ by product and some lines sit on sensitive lists, so ask your customs broker to confirm the rate. Then estimate your cost with the Landed Cost Calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Indian peanuts be imported into Vietnam today?
Yes. Vietnam suspended Indian peanuts in February 2015 over a storage pest, lifted the suspension in January 2016, and applied a temporary restriction in early 2017. The trade is open now, and each lot must meet Vietnam's plant-quarantine conditions.
Who prepares the Vietnamese label?
Bulk bags leave India marked in English with product name, origin, net weight, lot and dates. Your company adds the Vietnamese supplementary label. Ingredients imported for your own production do not need one.
What duty will I pay on Indian goods in Vietnam?
It depends on the HS line. With an AITIGA certificate of origin, the preferential rate applies; without it, the MFN rate. We supply the certificate of origin, and your broker should confirm the rate before you order.
Is Indian maize non-GMO?
APEDA, India's agricultural export authority, positions Indian maize as non-GMO. Each lot is tested and the results are reported on a Certificate of Analysis.
What payment terms apply to Vietnamese buyers?
Terms are agreed with each order and written in your quote.
