Indian Rapeseed Meal and Feed Ingredients for Thailand's Feed Mills

Rapeseed meal, de-oiled rice bran, corn DDGS and oilseed cakes from Gujarat, analysed lot by lot before loading.

Elysium Agri Corporation supplies Indian rapeseed meal, de-oiled rice bran, corn DDGS and oilseed de-oiled cakes to feed mills and feed importers in Thailand. Lots are tested at an NABL-accredited lab and load at Mundra, Kandla or Pipavav. Thailand imported about 616,000 tonnes of Indian rapeseed meal in FY 2023-24.

India's exports of feed residues to Thailand were worth about US$75 million in 2025. Your formulation team already knows the material, so the order turns on stable analysis from lot to lot and on papers that fit your feed import licence.

What Feed Ingredients Need to Enter Thailand

Animal feed in Thailand is controlled by the Department of Livestock Development (DLD), not by the Thai FDA. You hold the licence; the shipment papers are prepared to fit it.

  • A DLD feed import licence, held by the importer.
  • A health certificate with the shipment.
  • For soybean meal and corn: a tariff-rate-quota permit from the Department of Foreign Trade. Duty outside the quota is much higher.
  • An AITIGA certificate of origin to claim preferential duty; otherwise the MFN rate applies. Check your line with the HS Code Finder.
  • A Certificate of Analysis for the lot, against the limits your mill sets.

Packing and Shipping

  • Loading at Mundra, Kandla or Pipavav; discharge at Laem Chabang.
  • Typical transit from Mundra to Laem Chabang is about 12 days on current carrier schedules, confirmed with each quote.
  • Plan tonnage per container with the Container Load Calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a licence to import feed ingredients from India?

Yes. Feed ingredients need a feed import licence from the Department of Livestock Development, and a health certificate travels with the shipment. Send your licence conditions with the enquiry so the documents match.

Can you supply soybean meal to Thailand?

Soybean meal is in our range, but Thailand places it under a tariff-rate quota with an import permit, so very little Indian soybean meal goes there. If you hold a quota permit, send the quantity.

What analysis do I receive with each lot?

Each export lot is tested at an NABL-accredited lab and ships with a Certificate of Analysis. State the parameters you need, such as protein, fibre, moisture and sand/silica, in your enquiry. See Lab Testing.

Can my own inspector check the cargo before it sails?

Yes. You may appoint SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek to sample and inspect the cargo at loading. Tell us at the enquiry stage so the loading date and the inspection visit are planned together.
