Raw Indian Peanuts for Philippine Roasters, Snack Makers and Peanut Butter Producers

Bold and Java kernels from Gujarat, tested for aflatoxin before a long sea voyage.

Elysium Agri Corporation supplies raw peanut kernels (mani) from Gujarat, India, to licensed importers in the Philippines. You can order Bold, Java and TJ kernels, plus blanched, split and in-shell peanuts. Lots load at Mundra, Kandla or Pipavav for Manila, Batangas, Subic, Cebu or Davao.

India is an established origin here. The Philippines took 8.41% of India's groundnut exports in 2024-25, the third-largest destination. Your result depends on two things: aflatoxin control over a long transit, and documents that match your import clearance.

What Peanuts Need to Enter the Philippines

Raw peanuts are a plant product under the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI). Philippine peanut standards follow Codex for aflatoxin (PNS 48:2022 and PNS/BAFS 194:2022).

  • Your company must be BPI-accredited and hold an SPSIC before the goods ship. One SPSIC covers one shipment.
  • A phytosanitary certificate from India's plant protection authority travels with each lot.
  • An APEDA Certificate of Export and an aflatoxin Certificate of Analysis are issued for every peanut shipment.
  • Bag markings in English must match the SPSIC.
  • Roasted peanuts and peanut butter sold as pre-packaged food come under the Philippine FDA.

Packing and Shipping

  • Mundra to Manila is typically about 30 days with transshipment. Routing and transit are confirmed with each quote.
  • Moisture and aflatoxin are tested at an NABL-accredited lab before loading. See Lab Testing.
  • Inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek is welcome.
  • Plan your load with the Container Load Calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Indian peanut grade suits peanut butter?

Java and TJ kernels are widely used for peanut butter, and blanched kernels save you a processing step. Tell us your roast and texture target.

What aflatoxin limit do you test to?

Philippine peanut standards follow the Codex limit for aflatoxin. Each lot is tested at an NABL-accredited lab and the result is on the Certificate of Analysis. If your customer sets a tighter limit, state it in your enquiry.

Do I need my SPSIC before you load?

Yes. The SPSIC number and date must come before the shipment date. Peanuts should not share the shipment with another commodity.

How do peanuts stay sound over a 30-day voyage?

Risk starts with moisture at loading, so each lot is tested before it leaves. You may also appoint an inspection agency to witness loading.
