Indian Seed Spices and Turmeric for Malaysia, Cleaned and Tested Before They Reach Your Mill
Coriander, turmeric, cumin (jintan putih), fennel and fenugreek from Gujarat, in bulk bags for millers, blenders and wholesalers.
Elysium Agri Corporation supplies coriander seed, turmeric, cumin, fennel and fenugreek from Gujarat to spice millers, curry-powder blenders and wholesale traders in Malaysia. Each lot is cleaned at a specialist processing unit, tested at an NABL-accredited lab and loaded at Mundra, Kandla or Pipavav.
India shipped about 14,500 tonnes of coriander and about 9,200 tonnes of turmeric to Malaysia in 2025-26. Your customers already know Indian spice. So the order is decided by even cleaning, steady colour from lot to lot, and papers that match your MAQIS permit.

What Spices Need to Enter Malaysia
Spices are plant products, so MAQIS quarantine rules apply. As importer, you hold the permit. Send us its conditions with your order.
- A MAQIS import permit, issued through the e-permit system before the cargo ships.
- An Indian phytosanitary certificate worded to meet the permit conditions.
- Bulk bags marked with product name, origin, net weight, lot and importer details, in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
- Halal is not required by law for plant products. If your customer asks for it, the certifier must be recognised by JAKIM.
- An AITIGA or India-Malaysia CECA certificate of origin if you claim preferential duty. Find your HS line with the HS Code Finder.
- A fumigation certificate is often requested. Tell us if your permit lists it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you match the coriander or turmeric my mill uses now?
Send your current specification or a reference sample. The quote is matched to it.
What test report comes with each spice lot?
Every lot is tested at an NABL-accredited lab and ships with a Certificate of Analysis. Tell us which parameters your customers ask for, and they are listed in the quote. You may also appoint SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek to inspect before loading. See Lab Testing.
Can I load several spices in one container?
Each product is listed separately on the packing list and the phytosanitary certificate, so please check that your MAQIS permit covers every item before we load.
Do you supply ground spices or only whole seed?
The range for Malaysia is whole seed spices, turmeric finger and turmeric powder.
