Elysium Agri Corporation supplies Indian peanuts to trading houses, food processors and re-exporters in the UAE. Kernels are graded at specialist units in Gujarat, tested at an NABL-accredited lab and loaded at Mundra, Kandla or Pipavav. India shipped about US$45 million of raw peanuts to the UAE in 2025.
With peanuts, one question decides most orders: aflatoxin. UAE buyers check each lot against UAE.S GSO 841, and many then sell the goods onward. Tell us where your peanuts will finally be sold, and the test scope is agreed for that market before loading.

What Peanuts Need to Enter the UAE
You, as importer, hold the UAE registrations. We supply the inputs for them.
- Each product and its label is registered on ZAD and your emirate system, such as FIRS in Dubai, before import. Each pack size is registered separately.
- A health certificate from the competent authority in India travels with the consignment. Dubai also asks for laboratory test results on first-time imports.
- Pesticide residues are checked against UAE.S MRL 1/2019.
- Arabic is mandatory on the label. Bulk bags should carry the same particulars as retail packs.
- Raw peanuts must be wholly obtained in India to qualify under the India-UAE CEPA. The duty treatment of your HS line is confirmed with your quote.
Packing and Shipping
- With the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed to commercial shipping since 28 February 2026, carriers currently discharge UAE cargo at Khor Fakkan or Fujairah and move Jebel Ali cargo by bonded land-bridge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which aflatoxin limit will my peanut lot be tested against?
UAE buyers check peanuts against UAE.S GSO 841. If you re-export, the destination market may apply a different limit, so state the final market in your quote request. See our lab testing page.
Can I appoint my own inspector before the peanuts are loaded?
Yes. Inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek is welcome before loading.
We re-export peanuts from a UAE free zone. What should we tell you?
Tell us the final destination country. Goods landed in a free zone for re-export do not pay UAE duty, but bag markings, test scope and the certificate of origin should match the market where the peanuts are sold.
Do Indian peanuts need a halal certificate for the UAE?
Halal certification is mandatory in the UAE for meat, poultry and products with animal-derived ingredients, not for plain plant commodities such as peanut kernels.
